This documentary film was executive produced by School of Music alumna Sheila Johnson. It has been shown at locations such as the Tribeca Film Festival and shares the triumphant story of women who rise above racial and gender barriers in their three countries.

This gathering offers the chance to discuss and reflect on the afternoon’s activities, both the film and the exhibition. John Jennings will be at the reception to speak briefly about curating the show and his work which explores image-making through the visual culture of Hip Hop.
