From the Institute Training Committee:
Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! To a week of networking, learning, stimulating of minds, with new and seasoned clerks!
The Institute Training Committee along with the University of Illinois has put together a weeklong of programs to help you learn more about public administration and local government and tools to work better with the public, fellow employees and your council.
You will have the opportunity for networking or mentoring with other clerks, learn new ways of doing routine chores and share your knowledge with other clerks.
Mark “Tenacious” Towers says, habits start out as skinny pieces of string. Over time, these pieces of string become as thick and strong as steel cables! Make it a habit now to attend Institute and Academy yearly starting this September 22 through 27th and become a strong and steel clerk they won’t want to replace!
