Dear WCBR participants:

As you are probably all aware, WCBR has a program which offers a limited number of travel fellowships to qualified students, post-docs and very junior faculty to encourage them to attend WCBR. This program was established by Don Stein when he was conference chair and has become an important WCBR tradition.

These young individuals are the life-blood of our organization and many of you have been recipients of this award. Both those who have and those who have not have a vested interest in bringing new blood into the meetings through this mechanism. For this reason, I ask each of you that possibly can to donate to the fellowship fund at the time when you register for the upcoming 2013 meeting. While many members contribute $50, any contribution will be greatly appreciated by WCBR and the young investigators. This is an important part of our meeting and I hope that all of you can contribute.
