International flights are available from all over the world to and from O'Hare International Airport (ORD). Regular flights connect O'Hare with Willard Airport (CMI), Champaign-Urbana.

To the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) Building:

From Willard Airport (CMI)
Follow airport exit signs. Turn left (north) onto US Route 45/Neil Street (5.1 mi). Turn right (east) onto Springfield Avenue (.9 mi). Turn left at Mathews Avenue. Destinations will be on the right side.

From Bloomington /Normal Airport (BMI)
Head northeast on Cira Drive East (.5 mi). Turn right (east) onto Illinois Route 9 (.4 mi). Turn right (south) onto Towanda Barnes Road (4.8 mi). Turn left (southeast) at US Route 150 (2.0 mi). Turn right (south) at Seminary Street (.5 miles) and continue onto Highway 36 (.4 mi). Turn left to merge on to Interstate 74 East toward Champaign (39.8 mi). Take exit 183 for Lincoln Avenue. Turn right (south) onto Lincoln Avenue (1.5 mi), then right (west) at Springfield Avenue (.3 mi). Turn right (north) at Mathews Avenue. Destinations will be on the right side.

From O'Hare International Airport (ORD)
Head south on Chicago O'Hare International Airport (1 mi). Continue onto Interstate 190 East (1.2 mi). Take exit 1D for Interstate 294 South, merge onto I-294 South (toll road, 34.5 mi). Take exit toward Interstate 80 West/Interstate 57 South (.5 mi); merge on to I-80 West (3.1 mi). Take exit 151A on the LEFT to merge on to I-57 South (108 mi). Take exit 237A to merge on to Interstate 74 East toward Indianapolis/Champaign (3.6 mi). Take exit 183 for Lincoln Avenue. Turn right (south) onto Lincoln Avenue (1.5 mi), then right (west) at Springfield Avenue (.3 mi). Turn right (north) at Mathews Avenue. Destinations will be on the right side.

Parking:

Metered parking is available near the NCSA Building on Clark Street, in the parking garage just north of NCSA, and on other surrounding streets. Rates are 75 cents/hour, and the meters accept quarters, dimes, nickels and dollar coins. While you can park all day in the garage, time limits for surrounding streets are usually two hours. Please note that there is no free parking, and that all nearby public parking requires coins.

Day Meter Permits are available at a cost of $9.00 per day and may be used at University meters only (not city meters or red 30-minute University of Illinois meters). University meters are designated by the block "I" displayed across the top of meter. They become valid when you scratch off the month, day, and year and place the permit on the rearview mirror with the date displayed toward the windshield. These are one day use permits only. Day Meter Permits are available for purchase on-line (http://www.parking.uiuc.edu/daymeterpermits.htm) or visit the Parking office at 1110 W. Springfield (corner of Springfield and Goodwin), Public Safety Building, 2 nd Floor, Urbana during business hours (8:30am - 5pm Monday through Friday).
